I was honored to be chosen as the featured artist for MTN Craft, an Appalachian film companies 2026 Film festival which will showcase and celebrate filmmakers work from all over the Appalachian region, starting October 2-4, 2026 in Clarksburg, WV. I designed and hand illustrated this years poster and t-shirt design, choosing to pull from American Traditional tattoo style imagery and the natural Flora and Fauna found all throughout Appalachia, combining one of my favorite art styles with one of my favorite subject matters. The plants and animals have lived in this region much longer than modern society, and will be around long after we have left, which, to me, makes them sacred grounds keepers of our home. To combine their imagery with the modern and ever-changing art of tattooing, bridges a connection between nature and humanity, both of which symbolize creation, renewal, and evolution.
I was also asked to design this years 5 winners trophies, which I made out of terracotta and underglaze, depicting a Rhododendron, our state flower, and a wreath to tie into the traditional film festival wreathes.
